The invisible disability

Melissa Jacobus has made advocating for children with FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) her life’s work. She commissioned the painting on the cover not only to symbolize how hard and frustrating it is to see, but also how you can always find hope. My goal with the design was to complement the painting, and not distract from its subtle message.
