Cloud Tank VFX Reel
This is the result of my cloud tank reel experiment. A cloud tank is a practical effects technique that works by filling a big water tank with salt water and fresh water, then adding dyes and glitter to create these mystical, whimsical, and ominous cloudy and galactic scenes. Cloud tanks were used on films like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Independence Day, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Never-ending Story, and Poltergeist.
Day & Night music video
This is a music video created with illustration, photography, and stop-motion animation. Every frame in this music video is a light painting (long exposure photography technique where light is used to create drawings in space). Each light painting is stitched together with other photographs to create the animated story of this mysterious abandoned home which haunts and consumes its night-time visitors.
